API Diff is available in three different versions:
- Free Version: Provides all of the essential functionality to create projects and view side-by-side comparisons of APIs. However, you cannot save reports to disk or access the Comments analyzer.
- Basic Version: Provides full functionality for small software projects without any registration popups. This includes the ability to save comparison reports to HTML files and the Comments analyzer, which lets you review API documentation changes for a release.
- Professional Version: Provides additional functionality for use in large software projects. This includes command-line abilities to produce a comparison report, allowing integration with a continuous build system. Reports can also be output as a plain text file to support baseline comparisons that can issue an alert when a developer’s checkin changes the API unknowingly.
